Jonathan was born into the stage with his parents having met at Julliard School of Music, graduating, getting married and forming the singing team “The Carlyles.” Jonathan was thrust on the stage with his brother at the ages of 6 & 8 years old as they travelled with their performing parents throughout the east coast, including the Catskills. Jonathan went on to perform in many plays and musicals throughout elementary and high school and studied music in college. Although Jonathan’s primary experience has been performing music, Jonathan has always loved acting.
Once his children were older, Jonathan followed his wife’s que and studied acting in their home city of Ithaca through the Actors Workshop of Ithaca. Due to time constraints at the time, Jonathan only did a couple of semesters, but went on to act in 
many student films and played the role of David in the Actors Workshop Theater regional premier of Orange Flower Water.
Jonathan continues to love acting and pursues opportunities when his time allows between his
family, his wife’s and his band Anwer the Muse and his marketing company IMM.
